Merchandise Planner

Job Purpose:

To increase sell thru by brand through effective data analysis (pre markdown activity) to reduce markdown activity required by company through effective stock management processes. 

 Job Responsibilities:

  1. To assist the general manager in developing brand strategy on product development & category management with a focus on potential & lost opportunities for growth.
  2. Profile stores by location based on historical performance.
  3. Effective margin mgmt gross and net.
  4. Plan stock turn by brand to achieve sales target by brand/store.
  5. Analyze data to improve buying risk by brand/product category.
  6. Sales to space analyze by dept/category/sub class.

Key Duties

  • Plan forward cover by brand/store.
  • Manage the O.T.B. budget by brand and product category.
  • Identify and place purchase orders for basic stocks.
  • Provide detailed reports on inventory status.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sell thru.
  • Provide accurate stock flow forecasts and store replenishment schedule.
  • Manage the input of new items onto the MRMS and daily maintenance.
  • Identify slow selling lines and make recommendations on markdown
  • Identify best selling lines.
  • Provide option plan by size ration and sell thru on best selling sizes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate (not essential)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Merchandise Planner
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, forecasting & inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Strong leadership & organizational skills.
  • Experience with computerized Merchandise Planning systems

Visual Merchandiser

Job Purpose

  • To create visual excitement in our retail stores through external window displays, internal visual displays and high standards of visual merchandising .

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpreting visual guidelines set by our franchise partners
  • Creating initiative techniques of window display
  • Creating window concepts
  • Training sales consultants to maintain standards set
  • Ensuring merchandising has a positive commercial impact
  • Protecting company assets (visual Props)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate (not essential)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position


  • Between 8,000 – 10,000 (all inclusive) + medical insurance

Interior Designer

Knowledge of

  • Design conceptualization
  • Detailing autocad
  • 3-d designing
  • Hand sketches
  • Key Responsibilities


  • Degree/diploma holder in related field
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Good creativity and communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience, preferably designing for retail shops and restaurants

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between the different disciplines involved in the program (contractors, subcontractors, suppliers)
